settled.....getting settled.....

I'm back in the land of Smiles....and the hot sun is shining just like it was when I left. It's nice to be back in the warmth of Chiang Rai. It's been lovely weather with cool mornings and evenings! I'm soaking it all up. I had such a lovely winter fix back home in Washington. I enjoyed every minute with my family and friends. I returned to Chiang Rai feeling very refreshed and rejuvenated....just as I had prayed for! I feel very honored to have been cared for so well by all of you when I was home. Thank you to all of you.... you know who you are! ;) It's never enough time but my time spent with you all was divine and such a blessing! Thank you to all of you for being real and for going deep with me in the short amount of time. Thank you to all of you for investing in me and for supporting me to be here! I am returning here fully refreshed and supported!

I want to fill you all in on what's been going on here at BNJ....things are going well and God's doing lots of work here.....this week we will receive a new baby boy. His mother is HIV and isn't able to care for him at the moment. So we are being a support to her during this time. She lives with her elderly grandparents and needs to support them right now so we are helping her take care of her little boy and will be a support to her. We are all excited about having a new little one around but also know what all comes along with a new born and know we will all be a little busier. Please pray for this girl as she gives up her little one to us and as her body heals from delivering a baby and adjusts to going back to life. Also pray for us as we will be the best support to her and will raise up this little guy. Pray for wisdom and discernment and guidance.

I am adjusting very well back here...no jet lag and am delving into the spicy food like I never left..... haa haa! I do miss some food from home but it'll pass..... It's been a busy couple weeks back trying to catch up with work and get back into the swing of things here. But it's been good to see everyone here and catch up with stuff that I missed while I was gone....one big thing was my good friend got married two days before I got back. Also I had to count how many of the kids lost teeth while I was gone as well. 3 teeth and counting....... hee hee! It's the season for teams to come so we will have a few teams passing through this weekend! It should be fun to do worship and games with the kids.

That's pretty much all for now.....here are some photos of my highlights back at home and I'll post some wedding photos and new baby photos really soon.....I hope you enjoy and sorry that this is so long.....
