I'm moving to Australia, not kidding...

This post has been commissioned by me (Kyndra) and written by me (Luke). I feel the need to insert a short disclaimer here that if you find anything offensive, it's my fault. I'm Australian and some people find me offensive, partly because I am and I really enjoy being antagonistic.
Anyway, on to the exciting parts of this post. So far Australia has been totally awesome. It started off with me sneaking through Australian Customs with wood, food and seeds (which I have now sold on the black market for an absolute killing - just kidding K Rudd, I didn't really). At the arrivals gate at Melbourne, my slightly average friends Pennie and Luke (I've just switched to third person, it's easier) were waiting for me. Luke had driven the previous day from Adelaide and his armpits stunk a little, but I didn't tell him. Is that bad?
I stayed in Melbourne in the forest for a couple of days, which was nice, at a friend of Luke and Pennie's, called Noah. He's very nice. And if you like good music you could go to myspace.com/greatearthquake, that's his band.

My favourite thing about Melbourne was a café around the corner from where we stayed that wasn't open called 'earthly pleasures'. Unfortunately, I didn't actually get to go inside but Luke told me if was really really fantastic and his taste is impeccable so I think I believe him.
I got bored of waiting for 'earthly pleasures' to open, so we decided to all head to Adelaide, where the "real action" is, and where all my Australian friends live. The drive was beautiful, the giant koala's laser beam eyes were not.

Since arriving in Adelaide, I have not stopped doing the dishes. It's therapeutic.
It's been great to catch up with all my friends, well, most of them. We all spent the weekend at a little town south of Adelaide called Middleton at a friends friends grandpa's shack. It hadn't been renovated since it was built sometime in the 70s but that made it even better. The view was also amazing.

that photo is me with my friend Bec. I have recently bought those glasses off her for an easy bargain of $1000. Thanks for your support! You may also see a lovely view in the background, this is the beach we had to look at all day.
We also went to a place called Shark Alley, which was also really cool and there was fairly good sunset too I think.

If you think you like all these photos, you should really check out my facebook, there's heaps there. Isn't facebook great for connecting people? I love it.
After we got back from a great long weekend away, I set about relaxing a bit, which kind of brings us all up to date. I'm drinking lots of coffee, eating lots of yummy food, and making friends with all the kangaroos that seem to hop around all frisky-free on Luke and Pennie's front lawn .They are only sometimes aggressive (yes mum, I am looking after myself).
I'm getting pretty sick of writing about Australia now, so I'll probably stop. There will be more to come though, don't worry.
Love, Kyndra (sort of) (ie. sort of kyndra, not sort of love)
