HAPPY 2008.....

HAPPY NEW YEAR! I cannot believe 2008 is here! I am really glad 2007 is done and over with. I love the start of new things. I pray that this year will bring much fruit for you, many blessings, and that we will look back on 2007 and be thankful for all of the blessings and growth that the year brought us. I had a really great celebration with the kids and lots of friends that I have made while here. We had great food, got to send off hot air balloon things, and light fireworks. It was really great! The kids really enjoyed having lots of people around to celebrate. Then some of us older and singles went off to continue to celebrate for the evening which involved more delicious food, games, and the making of our own ball to be dropped at midnight. We had a great time. And I am so greatful for the friends that I have made and am continuing to make. I feel very blessed to be in this beautiful country. As time marches on please keep me in your prayers. I am having to make a trip in April to Australia to apply again for a 1 year multiple entry visa. The one I got is only a single entry visa and is good for only 3 months. So right now I am using my tourist visa which is good up until around April. So pray that it all works smoothly and that I have enough finances to make it happen. Thank you all for your support as I continue this journey here in Thailand. Pray for the people here in Chiang Rai and pray that I will really love on the people I come in contact with. Now that I have been here for a while I have very little language so actions are all I have to give right now. I am really frustrated in the language barrier but that's a given. I know time and practice will get me past this frustrating phase. I love you all and wish you a very happy new year. Blessings....Kyndra
