PASSED and PAST......

I have good news for all of you who have been patiently waiting to hear how my thai language exam went......ready for this?? I PASSSED!! I totally and completely did so much better than I ever expected!!! I give God all the glory! I got the highest scores in writing and speaking and the lowest in reading..... but listening I did well. Thank you for all of your prayers and encouragement! Thank you to all of you who helped me practice and pushed me on! Woo! I'm done! JOPE!

two thousand and ten.....woo!

It's a new year and yeah, it has been good good so far.....Crystal and I had Garin (one of the boys from Baan Nam Jai) over New Years and we had a really good time. We took him bowling and out on coffee dates and played guitar with him and watched movies and rode bikes and had so so so much fun! Here's some photos from New Years and Christmas.......

I turned 31 this  year. I still can't believe I'm in my 30's. Freaks me out! I am blessed that I am in a season where I have a good group of friends that are around my age and single. I feel so fortunate to have a community of women who love the Lord and encourage me to grow. I am blessed! Our favorite past time is eating together so that's what we did.....we ate until we all had food babies :D hee hee

long awaited......

 

  I made it back from Oz safely and jumped into Christmas mode as soon as I got back. I had an amazing time. I stayed with Luke and Pen in their house and they were so hospitable. I felt right at home! I also got to spend a night with Bec and Jess at Bec's house! We bought junk food and just visited into the late night. So lovely! Dave and Jess took me camping and we slept in swags! Never knew what one was before. So here is what they look like. It was so much fun. We woke up to rain sprinkling our faces.  After camping Jess, Dave and I went to go make breaky but the rain and wind made that quite difficult. So we went to a nice little cafe instead and had coffee and breaky. So I can say that I went camping in the outback with wild roos all over the place. Seriously they were all over the place. 

After the camping fun we went back to Jess's mom's house and Bec met up with us and we went to the wineries! That was so amazing! I couldn't help but think how jealous my brother Shad would have been. It was a beautiful drive to McLaren Vale. We went to about 4 or 5 different wineries.....it all became a blur by the 5th one.......here's some photos from there....
We had a lovely time and I felt so blessed to be able to go and do this with lovley friends! I tested lots of cabernets, sauvignons, shirazes, viogniers, syrahs, and some lovely sparkling wines as well. Thanks Dave for driving and taking us to all of the lovely places......

My birthday was sweet bliss....we ran away to spend 4 days at the beach in um, in a place outside of Adelaide called Victor Harbor and stayed in a friend's grandparent's beach house. It was straight from the 70's and amazing! We had great food, good laughs, some good local beer, beautiful walks on the beach and partook in some meat pies from the local bakery, ate some roo and at fish and chips on the beach at Shark Alley....here's some photos from there....

I spent a day with my friend Jacs and Nat....we had breaky together and went to this wildlife refuge and had a couple stops of coffee along the way....it was lovely! Here's some photos from that.....

my trip to Oz was fantastic! I could not have asked for a better 2 weeks of good food, good friends, good fellowship and good rest! I also lucked out with listening to some good music and going to some shows! So that was an added bonus! I am a blessed little girl!
