A taste from home........

As soon as I returned from the conference I was greeted by a good friend of mine from my home town in Coulee Dam. My friend Hope and her daughter had come to visit for a couple weeks to see where I live, what I do and experience a little thai culture. We had a blast! Also during their first week here, my new housemate came! Her name is Crystal, she's and Aussie as well....I can't seem to stay away from them! :D She's an amazing housemate so far! We get along great and she's very clean! It's nice to have someone in the house with me again! She will be working at BNJ doing nursing stuff, nanny shifts and some other stuff, hopefully community work when we get that up and running again! Anyways, back to Hope and Addison's visit....I had a great time showing them around my neighborhood, getting them to try all kinds of thai food and snacks, showing them the thai way of traveling, and well, allowing them to experience my busy busy life! They couldn't have come at a busier time! But it was good and we had a blast! The timing was actually perfect and the Lord knew that! I needed them here then and it all orchestrated itself just the way it needed to. God is so good~! We had fun riding elephants, going to the tea plantations, drinking lots of smoothies, coffee and getting massages, riding on my scooter and lauging a lot! It was refreshing and such a blessing! Here's some photos from that....enjoy

Krabi again...

I had a conference that I went to down south in Krabi about a month ago. It was the all Thailand YWAM conference where all of the YWAM ministries gathered to share what's going on all over the country. A bunch of our staff went as well as myself (obviously)! WE had a great time! We went on this crazy-scary boat ride to check out some islands. Our prayers were desperate that day! It was the start of rainy season so the Sea was not calm at all. The long boat was not gentle and we left the boat wetter than the water itself! It was a fun day needless to say and I don't say that in a sarcastic tone at all! It really was a good/scary memory~ Glad I went! The conference was really good. I enjoyed seeing people from all over Thailand and hearing about what they are doing to help the people of Thailand. God is raising up some amazing leaders and the new ministries are such a blessing! I was refreshed and blessed.

A few of us ended up staying a little later after the conference had ended. We stayed in a hotel just a minute walk away from the beach and had a couple days to just enjoy the ocean! It was really nice. I stayed in room with my friend Susie and P'Quan and Kak stayed in a room together and our friends Casey and his wife and little girl also had a room next to ours. It was a really good time. I also was able to get my baby fix with their little girl! She's a sweet girl and we had some good times playing together! Here's some photos of us at the ocean!

friends

Recently I had some friends come and visit me.....Dave and Jess. It was a lovely visit....we had good coffee dates, long late night chats, good food, weird photo shoots and made some more good memories! Dave and Jess were my first house mates while here in Thailand, so it was really fun seeing them again and getting to hear how their life is going back in Australia. I really miss them but had a really good visit with them while they were here! They have become some dear friends and have Thailand a richer place....
